Anna Silk was the first daughter of Peter Silk (an academic) and Ilkay Silk (a writer, actor director, producer, as well as a teacher in St. Thomas University). Her father is from Britain as does her mother, who is a "Turkish English-Cypriot expat." Anna's early memories include attending play rehearsals and watching her mother's work. She appeared in many commercials when she was a child. Anna relocated to Toronto in November 1999 to pursue her acting talents. Then, she settled at Los Angeles (California) over the next decade. Seth Cooperman met Anna at a Los Angeles actor's workshops in 2007. The couple got engaged. Anna was a convert to the Jewish faith at the age of 11, after having converted to Judaism. They got weddings in the month of December that year and then renewed their vows in a Jewish wedding ceremony that took place in Fredericton, in April 2011. Bo's same sex relationship, and Lauren (played Zoie Palermo) was featured in CNN as one of the most popular TV Couples. E! named the couple "the top TV Couple" in 2013. Entertainment Television. The show's success led to Anna building a large audience on social networks.
