Dolly-Parton
Dolly Parton escaped the struggles of her life early on through her imaginative and creative imagination. Before she learned to read and write she was making up her own music. In the year she turned eight, she bought the first electric guitar she owned and started singing at a Knoxville Tenn Radio Station. The same year, Gold Band Records was a tiny independent record label. While in high school, she was able to establish herself within the school community but her dream was greater. When she graduated from the high school in 1964, she moved straight to Nashville. Dumb Blonde was her first album to be charted on Monument Records. Porter Wagoner's syndicated TV show required the services of a new singer by this time. Parton was a part of the Grand Ole Opry 1969 after having signed in 1969 with RCA Records. However she left Wagoner's show in 1974, as her own releases such as Joshua Coat of Many Colors and Jolene were charting collaborations with them. Parton wrote "I I Will Never Forget You" for Wagoner just after the pair split. It hit number. For the first time, in 1974.
